Kismet uses a Google Calendar connection only to retrieve event details from the one calendar you select for private review and optional public discovery.

Read-only access

Kismet requests your calendar list and read-only event details. It cannot create, edit, or delete events in Google Calendar.

Nothing is public automatically

Imported events remain private until you select Publish on Kismet. Approved details may appear in Community Events with a link to the original event when available.

Security and control

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. You can make events private, pause checks, or disconnect. Disconnecting revokes the token, removes stored connection tokens, and unpublishes imported events.

No sale of calendar data

Kismet does not sell calendar data or use it for advertising profiles.
