We want you to feel good about what you purchase from Kismet Theory. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, damaged items, and refunds are handled.
Return window
Contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a return. Email mickeykismet@kismettheory.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the request. Please do not mail an item until your return has been approved and you have received return instructions.
Return eligibility
To qualify for a return, an item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition in which it was received, with its original packaging when applicable. Proof of purchase is required.
Items that cannot be returned
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Digital downloads and gift cards
- Items clearly marked final sale
- Opened or used personal-care or hygiene-sensitive items
- Pierced earrings, unless they arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect
These exclusions do not limit any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery and include clear photographs. When we confirm the issue, Kismet Theory will cover the reasonable cost of the approved return or replacement shipment.
Return shipping
For approved returns that are not caused by damage, defect, or our shipping error, the customer is responsible for return-shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Return instructions will include the mailing address for the approved return.
Refunds
We will inspect your return and notify you whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return resulted from a damaged, defective, or incorrect item. Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to appear; your bank or card provider may require additional processing time.
Exchanges
Because many Kismet Theory pieces are limited or one of a kind, a direct exchange may not be available. When an exchange cannot be completed, we will help you return the eligible item and place a new order for an available replacement.
